The Jaw Jacker polymer knuckleduster,
a collaboration between mercop and Jeff Ferrand at Alpha
Innovations.
Even though they are only made out of indestructible polymer
they would still be considered knuckles and illegal in
most places.
The Jaw Jacker is only intended as a
collectors item and as an example of what a knuckleduster
designed to cause the maximum amount of damage would look
like. Under no circumstances should you ever strike a
human with the Jaw Jacker.
Like many reading this I have always loved weapons of
all types. Especially classics such as brass knuckles
AKA Knuckle-Dusters. After I began ordering Kubatons from Jeff at Alpha
Innovations I decided to draw up what I thought would
be the perfect set of knuckles and have him injection
mold them out of the same material he uses for the Kubatons.
The major differences between the Jaw Jackers and traditional knuckles
is three fold.
One is that they are made of polymer and not metal. Two
they have projections on top and bottom to add two additional
striking points (have no idea why traditional knucks left
these out) and lastly the space in the middle of the Jaw Jackers acts as kind of a leaf
spring absorbing shock during frontal strikes.
As you can see in the picture knuckles are intended to
be worn between the first and second finger joint. Most
people try to put them all the way on like rings. This
is incorrect, if you were ever to strike something and
break a finger you would never get them off.
Again knuckles are illegal just
about everywhere for good reason, they are damn effective
like saps and jacks.
The Jaw Jacker is produced and offered
only as collectors item and is not intended to be carried
or used as a weapon.
Even though they are only polymer, striking a person
with these would cause serious physical injury.
