This sharpener features composite construction with coarse ceramic rods for aggressive sharpening and Fine ceramic rods for razor sharpness. This sharpener is held in between thumb and forefinger and features four recessed ceramic sharpening surfaces.
To Use:
1. Simply position your fingers behind the finger guard and hold the knife at a 90-degree angle to the sharpener.
2. Pull the blade back lightly in straight even strokes.
3. Start with the coarse rods to remove blade imperfections.
4. Flip the sharpener over to use the fine rods for final honing of the blade.
